Front-line Leaders of the Future partners meet in Madeira for LTTA
The consortium partners met in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal in October 2026 for a three-day Training of Trainers Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) hosted by VIBE Madeira. The event brought together a total of 18 trainers from the six partner organisations.
The meeting marked an important milestone connecting the development of the training curriculum with the upcoming local pilot implementation across the partner countries.
The LTTA’s main objective was to prepare participants for delivering the eight training modules in their respective countries alongside understanding their learning objectives, content and pedagogical approach.
The training programme covered all eight module topics: Effective Communication Strategies, Building High-Performance Teams, Leading with Integrity, Strategic Thinking and Decision-Making, Fostering an Inclusive Culture, Sustaining Employee Growth, Monitoring, Evaluation and Continuous Improvement, and Digital Tools for Leadership.
Beyond familiarising participants with the curriculum, the LTTA also supported partners in preparing for the next stage of the project: how the modules can be delivered in local piloting sessions, and adapted to the needs of local target groups. Also, the programme highlighted the importance of using participatory and experiential learning methods, collecting meaningful feedback during the pilots thus contributing to the further refinement of the curriculum before its final publication.
As next step, partners will hold pilot testing trainings engaging a total of 120 frontline leaders in their respective countries till the end of January, 2027.
The LTTA participants are greateful for VIBE Madeira for the wonderful organisation and warm hosting.
