Great Ambitions to Expand Along the Danube
Dr. János Vecsenyi, Corvinus University of Budapest, and Dr. Pál Danyi, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, spoke about the Danube Cup as part of a podcast series in Catholic Radio on October 17.
Going a long way from a small university pitch competition back in 2016 between two Hungarian universities (…) to becoming an international success story of 6 cities, 8 universities and 16 projects along the Danube.
Proud to spread the news about its success stories and best practices, the Danube Cup plans to:
- come up with inter-university start-ups
- expand university collabs with new institutions along the Danube
- strengthen its science and research pillar (academic knowledge sharing)
„In order for start-ups to thrive, it is key that they validate their ideas in the market, and create a team of mixed skills.” Prof. Vecsenyi
Helping businesses in the early stages is a high priority for BCCI, so the organisation helps Danube Cup not just with funding but also with international project management and communications support provided by its International Project Office.
The Danube Cup is getting ready for its 2025 edition. Stay tuned!
